A Life of Service - Lessons from Mark

Bill Muir                                                                                               Room 203

What does it really look like to follow Jesus? As Mark reveals in his brief gospel, it involves a life of service. Join us as we learn the path of humility from the master. Far from being weak or ineffective, those who serve powerfully impact the world in which they live. Join us for this look at the life of true servant who changed the course of history.

How Does a Biblical World View Fit?

Stan Baxter & Noel Wolfe                                                            Room 204

What is a world view? Author James Sire asserts that a world view is “a set of presuppositions (or assumptions) which we hold (consciously or subconsciously) about the basic makeup of our world."

A world view acts somewhat like eye glasses or contact lenses. It affects how you see the world. A world view should provide the correct prescription for making sense of the world just as wearing the correct prescription for your eyes brings things into focus. Unfortunately, an incorrect prescription can be dangerous, even life-threatening. This course will look at the various world views and compare them to the Biblical world view so that you will be able to identify how you see the world and why.

Growing a Heart for God (For Women)

Teaching Team                                                                                 Room 205

King David lived an extraordinary life, but what most marked his life was a passionate heart for God. How can we, too, have that kind of passion? Join us as we learn together, laugh together, and love one another as we seek to grow a heart that is deeper in love with our Savior.
