We love seeing God transform lives. Our caring team of staff and small group leaders walk alongside students to guide them as they pursue Jesus. We partner with parents and families to help students navigate the shifting terrain of adolescence and culture. As God transforms their hearts, students engage in the mission of influencing others to fully follow Jesus.
We desire to see students in authentic, loving relationships with other students, youth staff and the Church Body. We want to treat you like family (1 Thessalonians 2:8). We seek to build relationships that we can lean on in hard times and celebrate with in good times. As our friendship deepen, we speak the truth in love to build community and experience the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12-16). We connect as a youth ministry through things like small groups, open gym nights, coffee with seniors, tubing trips, hiking trip, connect events, and winter/fall camps.
We desire to see students transformed by the Gospel as they learn how Jesus changes everything about the way we live and treat each other. We learn what God calls us to be as we pursue becoming men and women of God. We teach, study, and live out the truth of the Bible in our lives every day. We develop an intimate relationship with Christ as we lean into knowing and being known by God wholeheartedly. (2 Timothy 2:2, Romans 12:1-2, Galatians 5:22-25, Philippians 2:12-13). We learn as a youth ministry in our midweek meetings, at our fall and winter camps, and in our Sunday morning learning communities.
We desire to see students imitating Christ and showing love by serving others. (Mark 10:45, John 13:12-15). When students experience the power of being used by God, their faith begins to take root at a deeper level. Going and helping others can reorient us from self focused to others focused as we serve in love. We serve as a youth ministry in local service projects, construction projects with the Go Fix It Team, partnering with Christ’s Home and New Hope Philly, and mission trips.
We desire to see students engaging in God’s redemptive mission locally and globally (Matthew 28:18-20, 2 Corinthians 5:14-21). As we pursue Jesus, His love overflows from our hearts into the world around us. We seek to use our lives to impact others with the Gospel. We multiply as a youth ministry through mission trips, loving our neighbors and those in our schools, student leadership team, and outreach events.
