ZIP Camp costs $125 per child for the week. We offer a graduated discount for multiple children per family: $125 first child / $100 second child / $75 third child / $300 family max. If you need financial assistance or an incremental payment plan, please complete the online registration and mark "Request Financial Assistance" at the end of the form. In the event that ZIP Camp is cancelled due to the coronavirus or other unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued to you.
Campers arrive at 9 a.m. and are dismissed at 3:30 p.m. each day. All campers will have outdoor and indoor explore sessions throughout the day.
Mornings: opening in sanctuary - two explore sessions - snack - Bible and small group time
Lunch: bag lunch under the big tent outside - free play or all-camp games
Afternoons: Two explore session - Closing in the sanctuary
Zip Camp provides a variety of activities for younger and older children to experience with others in their age group. We work to place children in their areas of interest, while balancing indoor and outdoor time.
Sessions may include the following:
Science lab / Dance / Outdoor games / Games of strategy / Sewing / Sign Language / Photography / Videography / Sports / Drama / Cooking / Jewelry Making / Woodshop / Art / Singing / Survival Skills / Golf / Digging Deeper in the Bible
Campers attend all sessions with others in their age group. Children entering 1st to 3rd grade form the younger group; children entering 4th to 6th grade make up the older group.
We supply a light snack mid-morning. Campers with allergies may bring their own snack. All campers bring their own bag lunch.
The last two years, camp has filled up within the first hours after online registration opened. This year, registration starts on April 21 at 7 am. If you want your children to attend, talk to them ahead of time about which explore sessions they are interested in. Be ready to sign up the first day of registration.
Registration for ZIP Camp is open but we will not be accepting payment at this time. As we continue planning for ZIP Camp, we are mindful of the state and federal responses to Covid-19, and will continue to follow their recommendations moving forward. To that end, we will communicate by May 27th the status of this summer’s camp. If camp is still on, payment, or request for financial Assistance, will be due May 31st. For now, we will accept registrations until ZIP Camp has reached it’s normal capacity and then open a waiting list.
If you have questions about ZIP Camp, you can all the church office at 215-355-6462 Mon-Thurs 9 am to 4 pm or email .
